Goodbye Mythbusters March 6, 2016 6:46 pm podrock

The great cable TV program, Mythbusters, is broadcasting its final episode tonight. While none of the five hosts were actually educated as scientists, they understood the scientific process and employed it with entertaining enthusiasm. They are the Mr. Wizards of the Millennials; and, I’ve no doubt they have had a positive influence.

When there is so much anti-science going on, I’m sorry they are shutting down, but they will exist in syndication and streaming forever, demonstrating that science is an adventure, a process, beset with failures, set-backs, and just figuring things out, learning, and making it work.

Thanks, Mythbusters.
