Considering the news about Venus this week, I’ve decided to ask a question relevant to the Zone’s interests this week. Consider:

You are the head of a SETI team that has just made confirmation of the existence of alien life; the method and the results do not matter. In light of your discovery, you, personally, have been given authority to send a message to our new neighbors.

What are the contents of your initial message, and in what manner is it delivered?
