On Reddit, the r/conservative room is the place conservatives gather to to share barely literate memes, propaganda, masturbatory political fantasies…
A shrewd person on Reddit decided to plot the sources that posters shared on r/conservative over the past year- a measure of their preferred source of propaganda- you can see the disturbing shift after the election- from hardcore right-wing propaganda outlets like FoxNews and Breitbart as those outlets of conservative effluent acknowledged Trump’s loss, to the truly violently delusional sites like OAN, EpochTimes, and Newsmax

Similarly, the right wingers are fleeing facebook and its all too infrequent fact checking and going to a safe space alternative called Parler- where they can share propaganda without facts rearing their ugly head, and- just as important- they can threaten violence and use ‘the ‘N’-word’ without fear…

If you want to see what insanity will come next from the right wing, it is a good idea to keep an eye on them… There are those that are doing just that:

More than a couple mass shooters in the coming year will have stories written about all the warning signs evident in their posts on Parler… And conservative talking heads will shrug and say ‘no one could have forseen the terrible acts of a lone gunman’, ‘It is offensive to politicize this tragedy by pointing out that the gunman was radicalized by conservative media’, ‘It it is outrageous slander to hold conservatives responsible for the actions of a single disturbed individual’…

Over and over, for each of the many ‘lone’ gunmen, for each of the multitude of ‘single’ disturbed individuals we will hear the same talking points from the right.

‘It is unfair to hold us responsible for the actions of a few’, they will whine… the same people that loudly clamored for the Muslim ban.
