Well, it finally happened. I’ve been reading Twitter for years. Just reading it. I didn’t join, not through Twitter or Google or Facebook. I wasn’t there to comment, or get followers, or any of that. Just wanted to read the stuff. Didn’t mind the ads, that’s fine. Great for local news as it is happening. Or for reading some of my favorite writers and journalists.

A few weeks ago, I started being blocked to read hashtag threads. Which was a bummer. Today I can’t get anything without signing up.

So now I am faced with a choice. Sign up or stop reading. Going to have to think about this.
