While there may be no global warming, ice does seem to be turning itself into water, and that is going someplace.  Eventually it will reach the boundaries of our lower-lying friends.

I KNOW they are too proud to accept help from the Federal Government.  After all, only lowlifes and large corporations are dependent upon the government.

So, let me suggest you start buying sandbags rather than count on the government.  Let’s say a sandbag will protect, more or less, a square foot of the perimeter of your property.  On a 100 by 100 lot, down by the seaside, over time it might take 100 feet of them.  So, 100 X 100 X 100 equals 100,000 sandbags, which is quite a few.  Then they need filling and stacking.  Again, don’t ask the Feds to do that, you are fiercely independent and wouldn’t accept that sort of handout and preserve your dignity.

You’re going to need ladders, maybe scaffolding, and a source of sand.  A 12 yard dump truck would get you 108 bags full, maybe a day’s work.  a little over 2.5 years.

By the way, that wall is guaranteed to be raccoon proof, too.

Just a suggestion for you.  After all, it’s YOUR property, your responsibility, you own it and you do not want the feds messing with it.

PS  The sandbags will be about 35 cents each, and the sand another dollar, delivered, if you order enough.  So, for $135,000 you can protect your property from the global warming which isn’t happening for quite some time.  And you did it yourself.

PPS  They are guaranteed to absorb small-arms fire, too, from the looters who will envy your foresight.
