“ Israel senses bluffing in Iran’s retaliation threats.”

Any doubt that Israel would love to entangle the US in Middle Eastern wars for the next generation, or two?

“A war is no picnic,” Defense Minister Ehud Barak told Israel Radio in November. But if Israel feels itself forced into action, the retaliation would be bearable, he said. “There will not be 100,000 dead or 10,000 dead or 1,000 dead. The state of Israel will not be destroyed.”

Gee whiz, maybe even fewer if the US attacks, huh?

It seems to me that Iran has rolled over for any number of US and Israeli insults, including shooting down a civilian airliner loaded with people, assassinating scientists and others, hacking their nuclear facilities, funding anti-government mobs and so on.  And the reaction has been muted, not what one would expect from people as crazy as the US has tried to paint them.

I wonder if sooner or later there is limit.
